Puma Tennis Signs Kegley to National Letter of Intent
Saint Joseph's College head women's tennis coach Reggie Sanderson announced the signing of Cynthia "Marie" Kegley to a National Letter of Intent to play tennis this fall.
Marie will be graduating from Roncalli High School in the spring and currently plays number one singles for the Rebels. Coached by Loye and Maggie Kegley, she has put together an impressive tennis resume. She holds the school record for career wins and most wins in a season, breaking her older sister Maggie's mark in 2010. In her career, she has earned Indiana All-State Honorable mention in singles and doubles, and has led the Rebels to three consecutive Sectional titles. She is the two-time team Most Valuable Player and currently holds USTA sectional and district rankings in the Girl's 18 and under division.
"This is another exciting day for SJC women's tennis. Marie will be an impact player that will help maintain our program at a high level," GLVC Coach of the Year Reggie Sanderson said. "She brings a lot of experience and a winning attitude to the team and will make the transition to the College-level without a hitch. I have been impressed with my interactions with Marie and can not wait to see her in action as a Puma."
Marie is the daughter of Timothy and Patricia Kegley.
