New Certificate Programs
are now available at Saint Joseph’s College!
Saint Joseph’s College is excited and looks forward to welcoming students back on campus in Spring 2020!
Beginning in Spring 2020, Saint Joseph’s College will be offering new programs where students can earn industry-valued certificates in careers that are in high demand! Students can complete these programs quickly – as they do not run for a full semester.
Saint Joseph's College has been approved to offer the following certificate programs; certified nursing assistant (CNA), certified clinical medical assistant (CCMA), certified electrocardiogram technician (CET), and certified phlebotomy technician (CPT).
Earning these certifications are an excellent launching pad for furthering your career in the medical field or adding skills to your career “tool-box.”
To make the programs accessible to our students, both day and evening classes will be available. Our goal, which is mission-based, is to remove barriers for anyone who wants to improve their life through a better paying job, increase their skill level, or re-tool themselves for a different employment path.
The industry-recognized and in-demand certifications are the building blocks for anyone who wants to continue their education in healthcare by earning an LPN or nursing license. These classes can also help someone increase their skills and add to their career “toolbox.”
Careers in the health sciences are currently in high demand, and—according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics—are expected to increase 121% between 2016 and 2026. Pumas completing this program will do so as highly-skilled and employable members of the 21st-century workforce.
Please check back regularly for updates on our new developments and class offerings!
