Core 9 - Toward a Christian Humanism - This course is the final lecture/discussion class for students in the Core Curriculum. In this course we ponder the "ultimate questions" of human existence. These reflections are posed in light of the Christian tradition. Students are challenged to come to terms with the values that will guide them personally and professionally, in dialogue with their understanding of Christian Humanism. See syllabus for this course. Ecclesiology and Ecumenism This course examines the nature and role of the Church in the world today. Special emphasis is placed on the different ways of "being" Church in the world today. The possibilities for ecumenical dialogue are also examined. See syllabus for this course.
