Program Requirements

The teacher education program is carefully sequenced and performance-driven. Consequently, each student must meet specific qualifications as progress is made through the program.

In addition to the criteria listed below, students will complete eight special assignments referred to as Benchmark Assignments. Each Benchmark Assignment requires a synthesis of previous Education and content coursework. Satisfactory completion signifies appropriate professional growth; unsatisfactory completion will require remediation.
