Charleston,
West Virginia, Collegiate Challenge - 1998
Twelve students plus
staff went to stay and work in Charleston, WV for the week. We saw
first-hand the destruction of flooding in the Ohio River valley, and got
to know some local people, include our wonderful site supervisors Richard
and LaVerne.
On our return trip we
went to Eagle's Nest State Park, visited a coal mine, and stopped at the
high bridge on the New River.
It took everyone to lift this header
on the house we built "up the holler" in West Virginia.
