Collegiate Challenge -1997
We stayed on the Cheyenne
River Indian Reservation during this Spring Break. The temperature
never got above freezing the entire trip, so everyone stayed busy on the
job site. We built interior walls, insulation, learned much about
the Lakota people, ate buffalo meat and met many friendly people, including
other students from Penn State University.
On the return trip we
visited Deadwood, Mount Rushmore, hiked up Harkey Peak and the Badlands.
