Jasper County Habitat for Humanity Committees





Family Selection Committee 

    Identifies the population in the community in need of decent affordable, housing, develops policies and processes for their recruitment and selects those in greatest need.



Family Support Committee 

    Provides and manages a mutual support system, educational opportunities and opportunities for socialization, discussion and enrichment. The committee recruits, selects and trains sponsors for each family, and designs and implements training programs regarding the many aspects of home ownership.



Fund-Raising and Development Committee

    Responsible for identifying and contacting potential donors to provide resources needed to build homes and operate the affiliate.



Construction Committee 

    Responsible for the design and construction of homes, keeping in mind the nature of Habitat's volunteer workforce and the partnering nature of our mission.



Site Selection Committee 

    Defines focus areas or neighborhoods where the Habitat mission can be accomplished most fruitfully, identifying and acquiring building sites.



Public Relations and Church Relations Committee

    Works to build community and share the Habitat mission with all members of the faith community through written and spoken presentation.
