We worked Monday through Saturday on two homes in the Chisasa village, on the outskirts of Dodoma. Much of the work involved mixing sand, cement, and stones. The group members also dug pit latrines and assisted with the construction of trusses, and carried "mbati" or corrugated iron sheets used for the roof.
