Rocky Mount, North Carolina - 2006

Our 8th Annual Thanksgiving Habitat Road Trip to Rocky Mount, North Carolina was held November 17-22, 2006.

SJC Habitat volunteers Evan Counts, Cord Atkinson, Jennifer Grady, Katie Egan, Matthew Frankowski, Matthew LeClaire, Melissa Cooper, Nour Fahim, Melanie Cooper, Alan Walczak and Megan Emerson, along with Faculty Advisor Fred Berger made the trip.





The group finished framing and started shingling a home in the Flagmarsh Subdivision east of Rocky Mount.  Warm weather gave us a chance to work in shirt sleeves on Saturday, but cooler temperatures rolled in by Tuesday's last workday.  Additionally students moved furniture and helped organize the local affiliate's Habitat Re-Store.




  

 





As usual, a trip to the Atlantic Ocean and CiCi's Pizza was made...
