SOC 119 Marriage and Family Life (PSY 119)
A review of the social-cultural factors that shape the nature of courtship,
marriage, and family relationships. Special emphasis is placed on
contemporary Western societies. The dynamics of marriage and family
life are discussed in detail. Self-actualization of individual family
members, communication within the family, and task-orientation are taught
as skills.
