One Sample t-test Calculations Using VassarStats

Navigate the website in this order:

• Select t-Tests & Procedures from side menu
• Select Single Sample t-test
• Enter data and population mean (µ₀) you are testing and press “Calculate”
• Output you want consists of computed t-score, df, and p-value

Note for one sample t-test, the null hypothesis is H₀ : µ = µ₀

(two-tailed) or H₀ : µ < µ₀ OR H₀ : µ > µ₀ (one-tailed)
