January 30, 2010 - Journalism Job Fair
The Indiana Associated Press Managing Editors and Hoosier State Press Association Foundation Journalism Job and Career Fair is open to all students interested in working in the newspaper industry. The event will be Saturday, January 30, 2010 from 9 am to 5 pm at Ball State University Alumni Center in Muncie, Indiana. This is a free event, and students should schedule interviews with recruiters before the date of the career fair. February 10, 2010 - Saint Joseph's College Career and Internship Expo
"Steer Your Career"
Our own campus will be the setting for this first-ever joint event, "Steer Your Career," sponsored by the SJC Career Development Center and the Center for Indiana Partnerships. The Expo will be held in the hallways of the Core Education Center from 10 am to 2 pm. No pre-registration is necessary and students of all class years are welcome to visit with businesses and non-profit organizations to talk about possible future employment or internship possibilities. Bring multiple copies of your resume and dress for success!

February 17, 2010 - Chicago Northwest Job Fair

February 18, 2010 - Collegiate Career Expo
Bus transportation will be provided by the Career Development Center to this event in Indianapolis on Thursday, February 18, 2010 from 10 am to 3 pm. Sponsored by the College Career Center Consortium and formerly called "College Talent Recruitment Day," this event is attended by employers from across the region and is the premier event for upper-level students looking for internships and career positions. Contact the Career Center at x 6116 or careers@saintjoe.edu to reserve your place on the bus. The bus will leave at approximately 8 am and return at approximately 4 pm. Lunch is on your own.

February 25, 2010 - Chicago Job Fair (Downtown)

April 21, 2010 - Teacher Candidate Interview Day
This exclusive College Career Center Consortium event is open only to graduating teacher candidates from member schools. TCID will be held at Hendricks County 4-H Fairgrounds from 8 am to 3 pm. From 50 to 100 school districts in Indiana and out of state will send representatives to this annual event. You must pre-register with our College Career Center and on the website, http://cccc.franklincollege.edu/TCID.html. An orientation session will be held in the Career Center about two weeks prior to this event, and bus transportation will be provided for all registered participants.
