Saint Joseph's College Assistant Professor of Physical Education Dr. Gary Sanders will once again offer his popular six-week Social Dance Basics course this fall. Dr. Sanders is an award-winning dance instructor who has taught at state, national, and international conferences. The course will review such famous dances as the Swing, Foxtrot, Waltz, and various mixers while incorporating several new dances. No prior dancing experience is needed to join.
Classes will be held in the Richard F. Scharf Alumni Fieldhouse on Saturday nights, beginning November 2 and ending December 7, 6:30-7:30 pm CST. The first class is an exception and will be held Sunday, October 27. On November 9, class will be held in the Gaspar Center in the Saint Joseph's Chapel complex. The cost for the course is $125 per couple.
