Transferring to Saint Joseph's College

Saint Joseph's College welcomes you as a transfer student. Whether you are transferring from another 4-year institution or from a 2-year institution, we are sure you will find Saint Joseph's to be a fun and educational experience.

Academics

Core
The Core Program is SJC's signature program. Rather than taking several separate courses to complete your general education requirements, each student takes one or two Core classes a semester. Each Core class is interdisciplinary, using a combination of material and professors from several academic programs, providing a well-rounded and cohesive learning experience.

It is possible that you have already fulfilled the requirements for a Core class or two. Previous coursework in English, Religion, and History may all possibly count towards a Core requirement. You will receive information on any Core requirements you have met when you receive your Credit Transfer Report along with an admission decision. Want more information on SJC's Core Program? View the Core Program course descriptions.

Programs and Majors
SJC offers 74 major, minor, and pre-professional programs to choose from. Our professors are knowledgeable and pass their expertise directly on to you, so you know you're learning from the best. Learn more about our faculty or ask questions about your major.
