No homework tonight? Get out of your room, there’s plenty to do. Go to a basketball game to cheer on the Division II Pumas in the Richard F. Scharf Alumni Fieldhouse or join an intramural dodge ball team. Play a game of pool in the Hub before enjoying a Baja Chicken Wrap, or wrap your hands around a warm latte at Jazzman’s Café on a cold night. Celebrate the holidays at one of our many concerts and get in touch with your faith on a Kairos retreat.
If you want to leave campus for a few hours, downtown Rensselaer is minutes away and features several restaurants, including BBQ, pizza, Mexican, Chinese, and just about anything else you’re craving. Check out a $4.00 movie at the historic Ritz Cinema, and satisfy your sweet tooth at Busy Bee Freeze. If you would like to get out of town for the weekend, we’re only 90 minutes away from Chicago and Indianapolis. You get the idea. Pretty much anything you want is right here, and it’s all waiting for you.
