Freshman Academic Support Program (FASP)

The Freshman Academic Support Program (FASP) is designed to offer admission to exceptionally motivated students whose high school grades and/or standardized test scores do not meet normal College admissions requirements. FASP provides qualified students the opportunity to begin their college careers on the right track. Admission into FASP requires a short essay, two letters of recommendation, and an interview. A limited number of new freshmen - up to 30 students - will be admitted into the Program.

Upon acceptance into FASP, students receive personal academic advising on a weekly basis and are required to enroll in two courses that will provide a strong foundation for academic success: Basic Written Composition and Concepts of Learning Proficiency. Credits earned in these courses count toward graduation requirements.

For more information, contact the Office of Admissions at 1-800-447-8781 or admissions@saintjoe.edu.
