The honors keep pouring in for Saint Joseph's College. Following its recognition as a "Best Midwestern College" by The Princeton Review and the announcement of its highest enrollment since 1971, SJC has been named the seventh Best Value College in the Midwest and the 28th Best College in the Midwest by US News Media Group.
The rankings are calculated based on a number of factors, including: graduation and retention rates; assessment by peers and counselors; faculty resources; student selectivity; financial resources; graduation rate performance (the difference between actual and predicted graduation rates); and alumni giving. SJC exceeded its expected graduation rate for the 2012-13 academic year and earned high marks for having fewer than 20 students in 80% of its classes, maximizing the potential for personal student-professor interaction.
"These accolades recognize the value of the Saint Joseph's College experience and provide evidence for the quality of instruction delivered by our faculty," said SJC Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Daniel Blankenship.
