Afford SJC
Below are the real stories of two students at Saint Joseph's who were able to make their college dreams a reality.
"The financial aid package, including my football scholarship, has been quite beneficial to me. I did not have to take out any loans to afford tuition. My advice to prospective students and parents regarding tuition in the college search is to not let the costs bother you when you see them for the first time. Seek out your options to help with the costs. There are ways to cover the costs. If you are a student-athlete, keep contact with coaches at the colleges or universities you are considering. It is the most beneficial way to keep your name on their recruiting list and to have a chance to earn an athletic scholarship."

"My parents were always big on trying to find a college that would fit with what I could afford. Out-of-state schools are generally more expensive. If it was not for Greg Rathnow '04 being so energetic at a college fair, I would have never looked into out-of-state schools. I chose Saint Joseph's College because not only did I win one of the Presidential Scholarships, but I loved the campus as well. I have also had multiple jobs on campus. Currently, I am a resident assistant, tutor, and grader for one of my professors."
