Dr. Geraci has worked for 10 years at Saint Joseph's College. He previously enjoyed working as a public school teacher in New Jersey, and as a professor of music at Mississippi State University. His compositional output is quite eclectic including concert music, jazz, music for television and film, and two operas. In 2010 he was awarded the “Faculty Scholar of the Year” at SJC for his Indianapolis based production of his original opera The Cask of Amontillado. His orchestral work To Reach Beyond Our Fears was featured in the Carnegie Hall Project "The Orchestra Moves" with the Mississippi Philharmonia Orchestra. His film score to the movie American Fencer was premiered in the Columbus Arena Grand theatre and took 2nd place in the Arnold Schwartzenegger film festival.
Dr. Geraci has also worked in music business at Sweetwater Sound and as a professional trumpet player for Carnival Cruise Lines and Holland America Line. Quite recently, he traveled to California to give a series of guest lectures on Dvorak and Rachmaninoff with the Monterey Symphony.
