Saint Joseph's College to Present Spring Choral Concert
The Saint Joseph's College Concert Choir will present its annual spring choral concert on Sunday, April 29 in the Saint Joseph's Chapel at 4:00 pm CDT. Admission is free and all are welcome to attend.
"This concert is the culmination of a semester of performances both on campus and off," said SJC Director of Choirs Kelly Ford. "We have had a very busy season, and it will be good to perform for our friends here at SJC."
Music will include some pieces from the Choir's tours and off-campus concerts, including "O Be Joyful" by Gilbert Martin. Featured ensembles will include the Concert Choir, Chamber Singers, Vocal Jazz Ensemble, and Full Chord Press, the Choir's barbershop quartet.
"The repertoire for this concert will be drawn from a very broad range of styles, from the Baroque to Afro-American spirituals. This is definitely a concert that will have something for everyone."
