Mary Pat Wesche '79 Elected to the Saint Joseph's College Board of Trustees
Mary Pat Wesche '79 has been elected to the Saint Joseph's College Board of Trustees. Wesche received her Master of Management from Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University and her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Saint Joseph's College.
Wesche is a Senior Adviser and the Chief Financial Officer at Forum Financial Management, LLC. She specializes in tax and investment planning for closely held companies and their owners, as well as high net worth individuals. She was named one of 2008's Influential Women in Business by Daily Herald Business Ledger and The National Association of Women Business Owners Chicago Area Chapter.
A resident of Wheaton, Ill., Wesche is active in a number of community and local non-profit organizations, including her church and the Wheaton Chamber of Commerce. She is currently serving as President of the Board of Directors for DuPage Public Action to Deliver Shelter (PADS), Inc.
A member of the SJC Board of Trustees' Finance and Audit Committees, Wesche wants to help preserve SJC's educational identity.
"I would like to ensure the legacy of SJC by making sure students continue to receive a quality Catholic education in a small private setting," said Wesche. "I could not have attended SJC without the scholarship I received, and I feel it is important to maintain these opportunities for others."
Saint Joseph's College, named a "character-building college" by the Templeton Foundation and a "best Midwestern college" by the Princeton Review, is a four-year, Catholic college offering 27 majors, 4 group majors, 34 minors, and 9 pre-professional programs, complemented by the nationally acclaimed Core Program. Founded and sponsored by the Missionaries of the Precious Blood, SJC is located in Rensselaer, Indiana, approximately 90 minutes from both Chicago and Indianapolis, on a park-like campus of 180 acres and has an enrollment of 1,100 students.
