Lunch at Tabor Hill Winery in 2010.
The Office of Alumni and Parent Relations at Saint Joseph's College has two trips planned for this summer. On Wednesday, July 11, there will be a trip to see "Million Dollar Quartet" at the Apollo Theater in Chicago. "Million Dollar Quartet is a new smash-hit musical inspired by the famed recording session that brought together rock 'n' roll icons Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Carl Perkins for the first and only time.
The bus will depart the McHale Hall parking lot on the SJC campus at 10:00 am CDT. Once in Chicago, lunch is on your own. The show will begin at 2:00 pm CDT. The cost for the trip is $75, which includes ticket, transportation, and refreshments.
On Thursday, July 26, a bus will depart SJC for a Southwest Michigan winery tour. A professional tour guide will board the Puma bus and share information on the local wineries. Three wineries will be visited, and the $75 cost includes ticket, transportation, and refreshments. Lunch will be held at Sandra Kay's in Stevensville, Mich., at an additional cost of about $10. The bus will depart the McHale Hall parking lot on the SJC campus at 9:30 am CDT.
