SJC Offers Course for Aspiring Photographers
Saint Joseph's College will be offering a Photography for Beginners Course on Tuesdays from October 27th to December 15th from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Classes will be held in room 117 of the Core Education Center and will cost $75.
The class will be taught by SJC Adjunct Art Department faculty member Shay Atkinson and will explore the basics of understanding how your camera works and how to take high-quality pictures. Each class will center on a famous photographer, showing students classical styles in photography and how they can use the fundamentals to create professional quality photos.
The class will cover several topics, including Basic Camera Operation, The Art of Critique, Landscape Photography, Photography of People, Self Portraits, and Night Photography. Students must provide their own camera.
