Hanson Recreation Center

The Hanson Recreation Center, known simply as "the Rec Center" to the SJC community, came into being in 1986. It is named after alumnus Richard Hanson '63 and used by the football, track and field, tennis, soccer, baseball, and softball teams during the winter months for indoor workouts, as it contains a fitness center, running and walking track, three courts that can be used for basketball, tennis or volleyball, and locker and shower facilities. It often serves as a playing ground for many of the College's intramural sports. This building has wired access to the local computer network.
