Lake Banet

SJC obtained the land for Lake Banet in 1945 and used it as a park for C.PP.S. seminarians until 1971, when it was opened up to the general College community. The lake was later named after Rev. Charles Banet, C.PP.S. '50, 14th President of SJC and one of the founders of the Core Program. Today, anyone can reserve the lake facilities for barbecues, picnics, reunions, and the like. Activities include boating, camping, fishing, and swimming.
