Other
Everyday Christianity: To Hunger and Thirst for Justice, the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops 1998 statement, reminds us of our social mission in addressing such issues as poverty and inequality, hunger, homelessness, and dignity of the human person. Christian service requires both charity and justice if we are to walk in the footsteps of Jesus. Putting faith into action by responding to the needs of others through participation in such projects encourages students to consider how they can use their education in a concerted effort towards the works of justice.
