Liturgies and Faith Formation
Students have the opportunity to participate and help organize a variety of liturgies through the Campus Ministry program by serving as lectors, Eucharistic ministers, and hospitality ministers at Sunday masses. Through their participation in liturgies, our students grow closer to God. In order to help all students have a better experience at Sunday Eucharist, Campus Ministry sponsors several "Teaching Masses" in which the parts of the mass are explained.
Additionally, Campus Ministry offers "Exploring Catholicism" sessions in which students explore different aspects of our faith, especially how those aspects affect our everyday lives. Topics in the past have included stem cells, politics and catholicism, protestants and catholics, and the Eucharist.
Campus Ministry also hosts guest speakers on various topics. These speakers bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to the campus.
