Housing and Residence Life

As a residential campus, SJC designs Housing and Residence Life programs to assist students with developing the “life skills” necessary for success.

All full-time Saint Joseph’s College students are required to reside in College residence halls unless living with a spouse or parent(s) within a 60-mile radius of Rensselaer. Students meeting this requirement must complete a Day Student Status Application (PDF file - 68Kb). You may download a free version of Adobe's Acrobat Reader from Adobe's Site.

Non-Traditional Students

Saint Joseph’s College is a largely residential campus comprised of traditional aged students. Students over the age of 25 requesting to live on the SJC campus for the first time should plan to set up an interview with the Dean of Students/designee. A final decision about the availability of housing will be made following the interview.
