Student ID Card

Your Saint Joseph’s College Student Identification (ID) Card plays an important role in your life on campus. Your ID provides general information about you and is necessary to utilize privileges with the Cafeteria, Library, and Fitness Center; to attend fine arts and sporting events on campus; and to access Puma Points in the SJC Halleck Undergraduate Bistro (HUB). You can also use it to receive discounts from numerous businesses in Rensselaer.

Everyone is required to present a valid Student ID Card every time they enter the Cafeteria or use their Puma Points. With the exception of sick trays, please be aware that please be aware that your ID is for your use only, and Dining Services and Puma Point privileges may not be transferred or “loaned” to another student. If someone else is discovered using your ID Card, the card will be seized and forwarded to Campus Security, and your dining privileges may be suspended or revoked at the discretion of the College.

It is your responsibility to protect your Student ID Card at all times. If your ID Card is lost or stolen, you must contact the Student Development Office and Dining Services immediately. In order to protect your funds and ensure that no one accesses your ID privileges, your lost ID will be deactivated. In the event that a student loses his or her ID Card and does not report the loss to appropriate officials, Dining Services will not be responsible for any losses incurred during that time.
