Phi Alpha Theta
A nationally recognized honor society honoring outstanding work and understanding of history and historical thinking and analysis, Phi Alpha Theta awards lifetime membership to students who have completed at least 12 semester credits in History, have maintained at least a 3.0 grade point average in those courses, a 3.0 cumulative GPA, and are ranked in the upper 35% in their class.
Throughout the year, students take field trips to museums and points of historical interest as well as bring guest speakers to campus to further their understanding of global history and culture.
