AVAILABLE IN THE LIBRARY

EBSCOHOST is a source of indexes for magazines and newspapers that contains some full text articles, but mostly citations to articles that you will need to find elsewhere.

WilsonWeb - This indexes everything (all the indexing, abstracting, and full text) from 11 H.W.Wilson indexes, including General Science Full Text, Humanities Full Text, Readers' Guide Full Text, Social Sciences Full Text, and Biological & Agricultural Index Plus.

ProQuest - Select this source to view full-text articles from the New York Times, including the Magazine and Book Review and Wall Street Journal (from 1889)

Newsbank - is "a comprehensive, full text news resource consisting of more than 500 regional, national, and international newspapers and newswire sources. It provides easy access to social issues, economics, environment, government, health and science and sports." This source covers publications from 1991 to the present.

OCLC FirstSearch - Follow this link to FirstSearch for access to WorldCat.

Academic Universe - This Lexis-Nexis database provides access to a wide range of news, business, legal, and general reference information.

ACS Journal Search - If you're looking for Chemistry information check the ACS Journals Search This database provides searchable access to the American Chemical Society Journals and Archives including 3 million pages of original chemistry dating back to 1879.

Pub Med - PubMed Central (PMC) is the U.S. National Library of Medicine's digital archive of biomedical and life sciences journal literature, providing free access to the full text of articles. You can access such scientific journals as Antimicrobial Agents and Chemotherapy, Applied and Environmental Microbiology, Infection and Immunity, Journal of Bacteriology, Journal of Clinical Microbiology, Journal of Virology, and many others.

INSPIRE - Indiana's virtual library, Inspire offers access to a full range of commercial databases and other electronic resources to support the educational, cultural, personal and economic interests of Hoosiers from their homes, offices, libraries, schools and businesses in Indiana. Although the databases are duplicates of the ones already available at St. Joseph's College, Inspire's advantage is that it can be searched from off-campus as long as you live in Indiana or go through an Indiana Internet Service Provider.
