Library tours
-- Faculty members are welcome to bring groups of students to the library for special assistance connected with class research projects or just for general library orientation.

When at all possible, please schedule class library visits a week in advance. That way special subject emphasis and appropriate handouts can be prepared for your students.

To schedule a library session contact reference librarian, Jody Taylor Watkins (ex 6210).

Audio Visual Policy

    1. The library will purchase and collect commercially available video tapes and other audio-visual materials which are suitable to its collection on the same basis as it adds print materials.
    2. Any locally produced video tapes or other audio-visual formats offered to the library will be accepted. If the subject matter and production quality are suitable and pertinent to the curriculum use, they will be added to the collection; if not, they may be turned over to the archives.
    3. The library will video copy off-the-air broadcasts according to copyright laws. These copies will be retained by the library and destroyed 45 days after the copy was made. The library WILL NOT copy any off-the-air tapes made by individuals or commercially produced video tapes.
    4. The library will not add off-the-air copies to its collection unless copyright clearance has been received.
    5. Liability for audio-visual equipment and materials damaged through negligence or abuse will rest with the borrower. Cost for repair or replacement will be submitted to the college business office for billing.
