Ken has been teaching and performing in the Northwest Indiana and Chicago area for over twenty years. He holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Guitar Performance from Grand Valley State University, where he studied with Guillermo Fierens, and subsequently participated in master classes with Christopher Parkening, David Russell, Manuel Barrueco, and David Tannenbaum. Ken’s studies specialized in classical/fingerstyle technique, with emphasis on music theory, arranging, analysis, and composition.
