2008 Commencement Activities
Wednesday, April 30th (Graduates Only) Thursday, May 1st (Graduates Only) Friday, May 2nd Senior Brunch: Noon in the Halleck Student Center Ballroom; faculty and staff welcome. President's Dinner: 5:00 p.m. (Halleck Student Center Dining Room). Full food court meal with the addition of a wine and cheese bar. Age 1 and under is free; 2-10 years old, $5.50; 11-years-old and above, $12.95. No charge to graduates. RSVP required. Baccalaureate Mass: 7:00 p.m. (Saint Joseph's Chapel) President's Dessert Reception and Senior Slide Show:
9:00 p.m (Halleck Student Center Ballroom) Semi-formal Dance: 10:00 p.m. (Halleck Student Center Ballroom) Saturday, May 3rd Community Buffet Brunch: 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in Halleck Student Center Dining Room. (No charge to graduates; Age 1 and under is free; 2-10 years old, $8.95; 11-years-old and above, $14.95). RSVP required -- with preferred seating times. (Seating times are at 15-minute intervals.) Brunch will include a sumptuous buffet including three carved meats, a cheese-fruit-vegetable bar, peel-and-eat shrimp, delicious made-to-order omelets and waffles, a full and fresh salad bar, lasagna, assorted fresh steamed vegetables, delectable potatoes and stuffing, and a decadent dessert bar to end your meal experience. Commencement Ceremony: 1:00 p.m. Commencement Ceremony in the Richard F. Scharf Alumni Fieldhouse (handicapped seating available). Graduation Reception: Immediately following the Commencement Ceremony on the Rev. Charles Banet, C.PP.S. Core Education Center patio. (In the event of inclement weather, this will be held in the Hanson Recreation Center.) All times are local - Central Daylight Time (CDT)
