Dr. Rice joined the faculty in fall 2010. He has more than 15 years of teaching experience. Dr. Rice teaches freshman biological diversity, general toxicology, environmental research methods, ornithology, ichthyology, and Cores 5 and 6. In addition to his teaching experiences, Dr. Rice has experience in lab and wildlife toxicology research using tadpoles, snakes, and dragonfly larvae. He has several publications on these subjects, and continues to oversee the development of standard methods in amphibian toxicology research for "Standard Methods in Water and Wastewater."
