Firefox Installation
To install Firefox on your personal computer, go to the following site to download Firefox depending on your operating system:
For Windows:
- Click on Firefox Setup.exe.
- From the "Welcome to Mozilla Firefox" screen choose Next.
- Click on the button next to Accept License Agreement then choose Next.
- From the "Setup Type" screen, choose Custom and select Next.
- On the "Install folder" page, use the defaults and select Next.
- From the "Select Component Page" do not put a check next to the following:
- Quality Feedback Agent
- Developer Tools
- On the "Setup Shortcuts" page, uncheck the "In my quick launch bar". Then click Next.
- Then click on "Next" again. Firefox will now install.
- When it asks, you do not need to "Launch Mozilla Firefox now".
- Choose Finish.
For Mac:
- Open the Firefox dmg file
- Drag the Firefox icon to your Applications directory
