September 17 – Recruiting Visit - Fastenal

September 24 – Fashion Show – Professional Clothing Essentials for Women - Fashion Bug, Rensselaer
Students will model professional outfits at this premiere event held at Fashion Bug, 843 College Avenue, Rensselaer, beginning at 5:30 p.m. Clothing will also include selections from the Career Center's own Career Closet. No charge for admission. All sizes, 6 to 30, will be featured.
September 25 – Accounting Interview Day – Indianapolis
This annual event for Accounting students, sponsored by the College Career Center Consortium (CCCC), includes over 30 professional firms. Students must be pre-registered through the SJC Career Center to attend the event, which will be held at Primo's Banquets. All interviews are by appointment only.
October 7 – UIC Graduate School Fair
Students interested in this annual trip should contact the Career Center for more information. If enough students are interested in attending, bus transportation will be provided to the UIC campus in Chicago from 3 to 7 p.m. The Chicago Graduate and Professional School Fair is open to the general public and is not limited to students attending the sponsoring colleges and universities. October 8 – Dare to Dream Convening – SJC Ballroom
This collaborative event with Ivy Tech Northwest and prominent Jasper County organizations will be held in the ballroom from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Students, staff, faculty, and community members are welcome. October 15 – Women for Hire Job Fair – Navy Pier
This event is open to all job seekers and takes place on Chicago's Navy Pier, Lakeview Terrace, 600 East Grand Avenue, Chicago, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on October 15. Admission is free. Resumes are required for attendance, as well as professional business attire. There is a charge for parking.
