Saint Joseph's College Campus Ministry
Retreats and Spirituality
Taking time to reflect on one's relationship with God is very important in our hectic world. To that end, Campus Ministry offers a host of opportunities to participate in retreats while attending at Saint Joseph's College. Our retreats are all student organized and student led, and we offer several different kinds of retreats throughout the year.
Kairos Retreat
Held three times a year, this four-day retreat is held at a retreat center in Hammond, Indiana. The goal of Kairos retreats is to get to know oneself better, develop relationships, and realize the place of God in the lives of students.
Camping Retreat
This laid back retreat is sponsored twice a year and is held at a nearby state park. These retreats revolve around students sharing their faith with others. Students stay in cabins and enjoy the solitude of the retreat.
Busy Student Retreat
The Busy Student Retreat is designed for students who might not be able to travel off campus for a retreat. The students meet individually with a director to reflect on specific scripture passages. This retreat is worked around the students' schedule and gives them a chance to take a break in the midst of a busy week.
