Greg Rathnow
Greg, who graduated from SJC in 2004 with a degree in Management, is a Assistant Director of Admissions. As a student, he belonged to the College Democrats and drove in Little 500, SJC’s annual go-kart race. He also spent 10 days in Egypt in 2004 with Assistant Professor of History Susan Chattin. “I studied Africa in the Core Program, so when the opportunity to take a trip there came up, I took it,” he said. “Seeing the people and their way of life, visiting pyramids and temples and knowing you could touch something that was almost 5,000 years old was really great.”
Greg’s top priority when working with students
is to make them feel at ease. “When visiting different colleges
and universities in high school, I remember feeling intimidated by things
like applications and campus visits,” he said. “I want students
to be comfortable with SJC and ask all their questions so that they get
the answers they need to make the best decision possible.”
