Welcome to the Saint Joseph's College Web site. You are invited to tour our pages and learn about the many programs, facilities and opportunities available to our students. No appointment is needed, and you will find they are delighted to help you learn more about one of Indiana's oldest and most innovative places of higher learning.
For over a century, Saint Joseph's College has been preparing students to take up rewarding careers which make a difference in their futures and in the futures of their families and communities. Saint Joseph's alumni have achieved much as teachers, scientists, business and communications professionals, accountants, nurses, physicians, attorneys, judges, and political and religious leaders. The reason these men and women are so successful is not only because they are well prepared in their majors, but also because the College takes the time to integrate the traditional, required courses found at a liberal arts college into an interdisciplinary sequence called the Core Program, which complements their major.
In addition to preparing for careers after graduation, our students are a force to be reckoned with in varsity athletics. The Pumas have a long and fine tradition of being strong competitors. The 180-acre campus has some of the finest fields for athletics in Division II of the NCAA. There are two major athletic facilities, which support not only varsity programs but also well-rounded intramural and personal fitness programs.
Campus life goes beyond athletics. There are many clubs and activities as well as friendly people to become acquainted with. Throughout the year the campus is alive with theatre productions, concerts, field trips, and opportunities to participate in community service through Campus Ministry. The College's television and radio stations not only provide valuable practical experience for communications majors but also are open to participation by other students as well.
