Programs of study

Although Saint Joseph's College does not currently offer a major in Geology, the college nonetheless maintains a vigorous Geology program. Several programs are available which strongly complement a major in any of the natural sciences (as well as any other major), a major in education, or the college's group major in Environmental Science.

Minor in Geology (18 credits total):

Required courses (9 credits):

GEO/ENV 111 Environmental Geology (3)
GEO 112 Historical Geology (3)
GEO 233 Mineralogy (3)

Electives: any 9 credits from GEO courses numbered 200 or higher

Group Major in Environmental Science with a Concentration in Geology
