WORK EXPERIENCE
1978 – present. Associate Professor of Communication.
Instructor, 1978-1980.
Assistant Professor, 1980-1997 (tenure granted 1984).

1978 – present. Director
of Radio and Television.
Responsible for overseeing FM
radio station and staff. Responsible also for closed-circuit television studio. Supervision of live television newscasts, public affairs
productions, basic and advanced video production class projects, and special
events productions. Responsible for equipment
purchases and facilities maintenance. Directed 23
episodes of campus sitcom. Experienced in
single-camera film-style production, multi-camera studio production.
Skills include directing, producing, editing both A/B
roll tape editing, Media 100 and Premiere non-linear systems.
1983-86; 2000-02 Chair, Department
of Communication.
As Chair, I have been responsible for the hiring
and supervision of paid and unpaid staff, budget preparation, generation of
reports, and evaluation of faculty members and their teaching abilities.

As program director I oversaw the administration
of workshops for high school and college students, including hiring staff,
programming decisions, and other personnel management activities. Currently as
Faculty in Residence I advise students about careers in the media,
trouble-shoot the program and provide guidance to staff.
