The Biology-Chemistry Group Major - Requirements: 54 credits of Biology and Chemistry and 8 credits in Physics. This major needs no minor. Particular required courses are shown below. You need a total of 120 credit hours and at
least 2.0 GPA to graduate with a BS in Biology-Chemistry.
You have 107 credit hours once you've completed Core, 54 hours of biology and
chemistry and 8 hours of physics. This means that you only need 13 more
hours of electives.
NOTE: Students majoring in Biology-Chemistry, can NOT normally take Biol 101, 203, 115, or 323 as part of the major. Biology 121 and 122 (Human Anatomy & physiology) can only be taken for credit in biology if the student is concentrating on Physical or Occupational Therapy and taking the pre-therapy minor.
