Dr. Rice joined the faculty of Saint Joseph’s College in the Fall of 2010. Before joining the SJC family, Dr. Tim Rice had over 15 years of university teaching experience advancing to the rank of Assistant Professor of Biology. At SJC, Dr. Rice teaches freshman biological diversity and general toxicology, and in the future will be developing courses in Environmental Research Methods, Ornithology, and Ichthyology. In addition to his teaching experiences, Dr. Rice has experience in lab and wildlife toxicology research using tadpoles, snakes, and dragonfly larvae. He has several publications on these subjects and continues to oversee the development of standard methods in amphibian toxicology research. Aside from his teaching duties at Saint Joseph’s, Dr. Rice also participates in our College’s music ministry and student choir.
